Hurricane Pat

Trained by Gary Moore

FORM – 131-11201- OR – 142

"He had a super 2025-26 season winning at Sandown (twice) and Chepstow - and he ran with great credit at the Festival. He'll school over fences in the autumn. I can't wait to go chasing as he could improve again. Exciting horse." Josh Moore

Hurricane Pat had a tremendous first season over hurdles which started with back-to-back victories including a Listed race at Sandown. We then went to Haydock for the ‘Rossington Main’ but were soundly beaten by subsequent Supreme Hurdle winner Old Park Star.  It’s fair to say we bumped into a potential top class horse that day and were far from disgraced.

Stepping up in trip Hurricane Pat ran with great distinction in the Turners at Cheltenham. He was beaten just six lengths by the winner with three subsequent Grade 1 winners only a length or two ahead. After those exertions Gary & Josh placed him well to win a Chepstow novice hurdle at long odds on.  It was a lovely confidence boosting run which would have given benefit.

He’ll go chasing this season and we hope there is improvement to come from this very likeable gelding.
