Crookhaven

Trained by Olly Murphy

FORM –    OR

"Crookhaven was a very impressive winner of his point at Dromahane which is a track that produces some lovely horses. I'm really looking forward to getting him started in a bumper or maiden hurdle in the autumn." Olly Murphy

Crookhaven made a pleasing Irish point debut when finishing runner up to The Gift Shop on a testing surface in April.  However there was better to come when victorious a month later at Dromahane which is a track that has historically produced some lovely recruits.

This son of Jack Hobbs was most impressive in coming from well off the pace to beat the more experienced Texan Outlaw by an easy four lengths. His smart turn of foot and sure jumping really did catch the eye.

We were delighted to buy him at Goffs May Sale for £85k – he holds all the credentials to have a solid rules career under the excellent guidance of Olly Murphy.
