Uda Man Dan

Trained by Dan Skelton

FORM – OR

"He is a lovely young horse who reminds me a lot of Ace Of Spades when we had him unraced. This is a horse that I think should step forward into being a bumper type in the late autumn. We had him for six weeks in the spring and loved what we saw. He's got a good attitude and hopefully, a bit like Ace Of Spades we can mold his career" Dan Skelton - Trainer.

This un-named grey gelding is a fine big horse and also beautifully bred. He’s by dual Group One winner The Grey Gatsby and out of Ustana who also had a stellar track career. She was a 5 time winner and placed 19 times.

Ustana has seen three of her young offspring reach the track – all have seen success including Ultima who won at Listed and Group 3 level.

We couldn’t be more enthusiastic about this horse as he should have a very good career under rules.

A likely type to potentially run in the Listed 4-y-o Bumper on New Years Day at Cheltenham.

Based in Warwickshire, Skelton began his career working under Paul Nicholls, where he honed his skills before setting up his own yard in 2013. In a relatively short time, Skelton has made a significant impact on the sport, training multiple winners at the Cheltenham Festival and other major meetings. Known for his sharp strategic approach and excellent race planning, he’s developed a reputation for getting the best out of his horses, particularly in big handicaps. His yard is also noted for its strong team ethic, with his brother Harry Skelton, a top jockey, often partnering their best horses.
