By the very exciting stallion Poets Word she was purchased at the Tattersalls (IRE) May Sale in 2025. Given her impressive Irish Point form we expected to win a bumper in her debut season but unfortunately Recite A Poem wasn’t quite right which stopped her getting to the track.
After some ‘Fehily TLC’ at Hagg Hill she’s already back in full training. We remain confident the admirable patience shown by the owners will be rewarded. Recite A Poem is a lovely big mare so the extra time will have helped her strengthen and may well be a bonus.
