Midnight Jukebox

Trained by Fergal O’Brien

FORM -1 OR

"A lovely Jukebox Jury horse who was impressive in his point. I've never rung 'the boys' to ask for a horse before but when I knew they had bought him I picked up the phone. Can't wait to train him" Fergal O’Brien - Trainer

He is a striking 4-y-o gelding by prominent sire Jukebox Jury and out of a ‘Black Type’ mare.  Despite strong opposition in the ring we were delighted to purchase him at the 2025 Tattersalls Cheltenham Sale for £135k.

Midnight Jukebox was an impressive winner of his only point at Castlelands (9th March, soft ground) when jumping well and showing an excellent attitude.  We like him very much.

Some desperate winter weather saw his debut delayed on numerous occasions but finally we saw Midnight Jukebox strut his stuff at Southwell (18th Feb) ridden by Johnny Burke. It looked a hot bumper with some classy point recruits so we were absolutely thrilled to see Jukebox and Johnny kick clear a furlong from home to seal victory.  It was the perfect debut and one that said there could be a lot more to come further down the line.  Plans remain fluid but he may be one for the Punchestown Festival in April.
