"A lovely horse but one who developed an epiglottic entrapment early in the season. It's usually a quick fix but he required three operations to solve the problem. May I thank the owners as they were remarkably patient and understanding in such difficult circumstances. Out In De Wild was purchased in May 2025 after a very eye catching run in an Irish point. It was encouraging to receive regular positive updates from Alan King as his home work was promising. However a problem with his epiglottis took a long time to cure so he never got to the track.
This was clearly frustrating but his owners showed admirable patience and gave us time. Hopefully that kindness will be rewarded when Out In De Wild jumps a hurdle in the autumn. His schooling has been first class and his work has always been good. He remains very exciting for the new season.
