Adonedeal

"He won twice over hurdles last season which was really pleasing but I've always thought he would be a much better chaser. I can't wait to jump a fence with him in the autumn." Olly Murphy

It’s a cliche but the saying ‘anything he does over hurdles is a bonus’ certainly applied to Adonedeal.  He was bought to be an exciting chaser so to see him win two novice hurdles (Southwell & Plumpton) was hugely encouraging.  Well done to Olly Murphy and his team.

Adonedeal can be hard on himself, often too eager to please but if that energy can be harnessed positively there is every hope his owners will have a thrilling season.  The current Champion Jockey Sean Bowen is adamant he’ll improve plenty for a fence.

This son of Califet was very impressive in his Irish point winning by 17L in a fast time – the ability is definitely there.  Let’s enjoy the ride.
